How long will it take for the test to arrive at my home?
Your order will usually be shipped no later than the next business day. Shipping within Germany typically takes 1-3 days; international shipping may take slightly longer.
What do I need to consider before conducting the first test?
Dietary supplements, such as probiotics/prebiotics and herbal antibiotics, should be discontinued 1 week before the test.
Please adhere strictly to the prescribed diet for 24 hours before the test (a list of permitted foods and a dietary example can be found in the test instructions included with the test).

Are hydrogen (H2), methane (CH2), and CO2 all measured?
Yes, we measure hydrogen and methane, because that's the only way to obtain a reliable test result. CO2 values, used to check sample stability, are also provided by Sibolab.
How soon do I have to send the test back?
The test kit has a shelf life of 4 months. Samples will keep for at least 2 weeks after administration; however, to ensure the best possible quality, the test should be returned to us within two working days of administration.
How do I get my result?
Once we have received your test, you will receive the result as a download link via email within 3 working days.
Our international customers receive the results in English.
Once I receive my test results, what happens next?
Always discuss your results with your doctor and/or therapist. SIBO can and should be treated. We are constantly gathering new scientific information to provide tips and ideas for everyday life. If you receive a negative result, don't give up and continue searching for the cause of your symptoms.
How can I cancel/revoke my order?
Please send an email to info@sibolab.de stating your order number. If the test kit arrives safely and undamaged, we will cancel the invoice and issue a refund. Please also refer to our cancellation policy.
